Jill's Private Studio - Alaska True Acting

JILL BESS studied the Sanford Meisner Acting Method with Maria Gobhetti at the Victory Theatre in Burbank, California for 2 1/2 years in the early 1980s, and the method had a profound impact on her career. She later had the incredible opportunity to spend two summers earning her Teacher Certification in Meisner in 2012 and 2013 with Master Teacher, Larry Silverberg. Jill has been an actress and theatre teacher, private coach and director for over 30 years. She formed Alaska True Acting in 2014 in order to offer private coaching and group classes to students wanting to dig deeper into their acting training. Alaskan actors can often feel isolated when it comes to regular training that might keep their craft fresh and truthful.  We all need community, more now than ever, and these in-person acting classes offer a fresh and exciting way to train with a community of eager actors in a safe, challenging and encouraging atmosphere.
